Premix fast-track is a range of high early-strength concretes which speed up construction by allowing quick release of formwork. It can save time, energy and money by:

  • ensuring production deadlines can be met with confidence.
  • reducing the requirement for external heating.
  • reducing production time and increasing productivity.

Premix fast-track has been developed for fastrack construction, thinner sections, carriageway replacement, airport hard standings, warehouses and precast structures.

It uses Sikament Rapid Technology products which can be added at the batching plant or on site.

It is important that the temperature of the concrete is maintained prior to and after placement. Hot water or steam may be used. To ensure maximum strength gain, insulated forms coupled with thermal blankets may be appropriate in extreme cases.
