Hanson's aggregate blocks are available in a variety of densities, strengths, sizes, and configurations to suit a wide range of applications. Using naturally occuring dense and lightweight aggregates, aggregate blocks are a robust product offering high compressive strength, and excellent sound insulation to help meet the requirements of building regulations.

In addition to the extensive range of background masonry products, Hanson also offers facing masonry, and paint grade blocks, and a selection of lightweight, and cellular blocks, which provide similar properties to the solid blocks, but with the advantage of significantly reduced weight.

Case Study - Wendover Arm Trust

It is a well known fact that aggregate blocks manufactured by Hanson Building Products are versatile enough for virtually any construction requirements, but using them to line a derelict canal that closed because of leakage was a first in the company's history! This highly unusual request came from the Wendover Arm Trust, a volunteer organisation dedicated to restoring the Wendover Arm Canal from Little Tring in Hertfordshire to Wendover in Buckinghamshire. Evalast blocks were used to line the sloping sides, laid on top of Bentomat lining used for waterproofing.
