New mixers to join concrete fleet

Hanson has entered into an agreement with logistics firm Wincanton to deliver around half a million cubic metres of ready-mixed concrete on its behalf every year.

The eight-year contract will be fulfilled by a fleet of over 70 new vehicles in Wincanton and Hanson liveries, each with a carrying capacity of eight cubic metres. The initial deployment of mixers will be in the East Midlands, with the remainder placed around the country to best serve the needs of Hanson customers. Wincanton will be responsible for the management of both the drivers and all safety-related compliance.
