Conserving natural resources in action

EnviroAsh Project: Throughout 2020 we have been involved in the EnviroAsh Project, a government funded project involving a wide range of industry partners. It looks at the wastes or by-products generated from these businesses and makes an assessment to see if waste from one company can be used as a raw material for another.

By being involved in the project we have identified a number of potential raw materials that could be used within our cement business which could reduce virgin raw materials and reduce CO₂ by up to 10,000 tonnes per year.
